WORK WITH ME

INDIVIDUAL

Individual virtual therapy sessions lasting approximately 50 minutes. Gather Therapy accepts Blue Cross Blue Shield, Blue Care Network, Aetna, Priority Health and United Health Care.

Private pay sessions are available for a fee of $195 per session.

INTENSIVES

Therapy Intensives are available for those that wish to accelerate their healing. Therapy Intensives are extended virtual sessions lasting 90minutes to 3 hours + hours and are not covered by insurance.

  • Everyone goes through hard times, challenges and difficulties. There is nothing wrong with seeking help and extra support if you are in need.

  • People seek out therapy for all kinds of reasons. For some, it is anxiety, depression, racing thoughts, excessive worry, life changes, times of transition. Therapy can help people to learn new skills to manage these changes. It can provide encouragement, a new perspective, lead to greater understanding of how your minds works and learn more about yourself. Therapy can help you form goals and make changes.

  • Virtual therapy or telehealth means that you meet with a therapist via computer or phone. Most sessions last about 50 minutes, sometimes more, sometimes less. You and your therapist will decide how often you meet and agree upon a schedule. Sessions are confidential. Therapy starts with history taking, a review of your concerns, what brought you to therapy and what you would like to accomplish. You and your therapist will set goals and work towards attaining them. Sessions are sometimes emotional and difficult, but other times you may leave feeling encouraged, insightful and lighter. You will likely cry, swear and you will probably laugh some too.

  • You can contact your insurance provider (their number is on the back of your card), ask about benefits, out of pocket costs per session, if you have a copay etc. Before you begin therapy with Gather, your insurance information will be verified so that there are no unexpected expenses.

  • Schedule a free phone consultation. You will speak with a therapist and if it feels right, ask for introductory documents to be sent to you. You will then receive an email which will ask for insurance information, if you are using health insurance benefits. After your insurance benefits are verified, a therapist will contact you and schedule your first session.
